The RETROL R&D team spent 4 months developing and designing this brand-new H&M hit-and-miss engine model, model HM-01. We adopt premium materials and exquisite craftsmanship to guarantee the engine’s reliability and service life.
It is equipped with a transparent adjustable-flow main oil cup, a newly designed carburetor, and an echo exhaust pipe. Two large flywheels feature well-balanced counterweights, built-in spring flyball governors, and split wide-face pulleys, making the engine highly practical for power output.
A rare speed selector switch is specially engineered to adjust engine RPM: it supports ultra-low stable idle operation as well as high-speed power output. This greatly enhances playability and brings immersive operating experience for hobbyists.
Craftsmanship Highlights
The whole engine adopts electrophoretic surface treatment with Ferrari red paint finish. Key components including the main body, flywheels and connecting rods are cast from 304 stainless steel, all mating surfaces are precisely CNC-machined, and the crankshaft is an integrated high-carbon steel hardened piece.
It is not only a playable functional engine model, but also a mechanical artwork with high collectible value.
